Shipping insurance covers any loss of or damage to packages by USPS. If your package is lost in transit or arrives with dings, scrapes, gouges, holes in the bag, etc. Loss of packages is verified by USPS tracking. Shipping insurance does not cover for example, packages stolen from your porch after they’re delivered. For additional security you can request delivery with signature required.
